報(bào)告摘要:As we prepare for Industry 4.0, there is a need for manufacturers to adopt new innovative technologies such as additive manufacturing (AM) or 3D printing for them to remain competitive. However, one of the key challenges faced by AM today is the limited materials available for metal AM. In this seminar, two approaches - in-situ alloying and multi-metal processing will be presented.
Looking into the future, a “plug and play” approach to metal AM can be made possible through the understanding of fundamental sciences related to the processes, properties and performances of AM metals. This knowledge-based approach allows the integration of machine learning and data analytics into AM, fully realising the potential of Industry 4.0.
隨著工業(yè)4.0的推進(jìn),制造商需要采用諸如增材制造(AM)或3D打印等創(chuàng)新技術(shù),以保持行業(yè)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力。然而,當(dāng)前增材制造金屬材料面臨的關(guān)鍵挑戰(zhàn)是可用材料種類有限。在本次研討會(huì)中,將介紹兩種方法:原位合金化和多金屬加工。

報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介:
Dr Swee Leong SING is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore. His research interest is enabling material development and creating strategic values for Industry 4.0 and beyond through the use and integration of advanced manufacturing. Swee Leong is named a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate in 2024, 2023 and 2022. In 2022, he is also awarded the Young Professional Award by ASTM International. As of April 2025, he has co-authored 91 peer reviewed articles in the field of additive manufacturing or 3D printing. He currently has a h-index of 39, with more than 8000 citations based on statistics from Web of Science.
Swee Leong SING是新加坡國(guó)立大學(xué)(NUS)機(jī)械工程系的助理教授。研究方向?yàn)橥ㄟ^(guò)先進(jìn)制造技術(shù)的應(yīng)用與整合推動(dòng)材料開(kāi)發(fā),并為工業(yè)4.0及未來(lái)發(fā)展創(chuàng)造戰(zhàn)略價(jià)值。Swee Leong SING于2022-2024年連續(xù)三年入選Clarivate高被引學(xué)者。并榮獲ASTM International青年專家稱號(hào)(Young Professional Award)。截至2025年4月,已在Progress in Materials Science, Additive Manufacturing等增材制造及3D打印領(lǐng)域的高水平期刊發(fā)表90余篇學(xué)術(shù)論文。Web of Science數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)H因子為39,總引用次數(shù)超過(guò)8000次。
